NVIDIA Quantum-2 QM9700

share to:

The NVIDIA Quantum-2 QM9700 is the flagship NDR 400Gb/s InfiniBand smart switch in the Quantum-2 family, designed for high-performance computing (HPC), AI training, and hyperscale cloud infrastructure. Based on NDR (Next Data Rate) technology, it provides 64 400Gb/s ports (which can be split into 128 200Gb/s ports), with a total throughput of 51.2Tb/s, and supports sub-microsecond latency, and is the core device for building supercomputing clusters and AI training networks

Introduction

category specification
Port configuration 64X NDR 400Gb/s port (32 OSFP physical interface, 128 x 200Gb/s supported)
Handling capacity 51.2Tb/s aggregated bidirectional bandwidth (non-blocking architecture)
Put off Support NDR 400G/200G, HDR 200G, EDR 100G, etc. (backward compatible with older devices)
Compatible rate Support NDR 400G/200G, HDR 200G, EDR 100G, etc. (backward compatible with older devices)
Power dissipation Typical power consumption is not clear, similar models full load about 300-500W
Hardware redundancy 1+1 Redundant hot-swappable power supply + N+1 Redundant fan (Front/Rear/front wind direction)
Management mode

External management (QM9790) : Required with the NVIDIA UFM® platform

Internal Management (QM9700) : Built-in subnet manager that supports 2,000 nodes out of the box
