Next-generation scalability for multi-workload computing
The HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen10 Server has a flexible processor tray that enables the server to scale from one to four processors as needed, saving upfront costs; it is also designed with a flexible drive bay that supports up to 48 small form factor (SFF) SAS/SATA drives and up to 20 NVMe drives.
The server supports up to 16 full-height PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, including up to 4 full-length/full-height graphics processing units
(GPU) and network cards or storage controllers that can provide greater scalability.
Excellent safety and reliability
HPE offers industry standard servers with its own designed BMC (HPE iLO5) silicon. The silicon is physically altered to protect most of the server base firmware including HPE iLO, UEFI, IE, ME and SPLD. The positioning of the HPE silicon creates a true protective Silicon Root of Trust (Silicon Root of Trust).
HPE iLO starts running millions of lines of firmware code before the server operating system boots and runs environmental firmware validation, and server firmware checks every 24 hours to verify the validity and trustworthiness of the base system firmware.
Secure Recovery allows server firmware to be rolled back to the last known good state or factory settings after leaked code is detected.
Trusted Platform Module (TPM/TCM) provides additional security options to prevent unauthorized access to the server; and triggers an intrusion detection package to log and alarm when the server cover is removed, ensuring the safety of components stored in the server.
